Ennis Lock was born in March 1858 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia.

 

He married, 17 year old Fortune A. Day (born August 1860) on January 6, 1877.

 

According to the 1880 census, the 22 year old farmer, and his 20 year old wife lived next door to his sister Queen Lock Kinchen and her family and they had the first two of their would be thirteen children.

 

During the 1900 census, Ennis and Fortune lived two houses down from his sister Marthy Lock Rachels and her husband John. They had also increased their family to include the remaining eleven children.

 

John Rachels and Ennis held several mortgage notes together.

 

Fortune died July 21, 1931.

 

Ennis married Sidney Kinchen on January 3, 1932.

 

He later married Willie Maud Barlow on March 27, 1938.

 

Ennis Lock died on July 17, 1952, at the age of 94
